Paypal – Installing Paypal Buttons from my Paypal Account – Add to Cart Feature.

In order to sell online I must have a simple way to process my orders and that simple tool is Paypal custom buttons from my Paypal account. Now if you’ve never added Paypal buttons to your website I can testify that it is easy to do. The first thing you will need is a Paypal account. Paypal is free so if you haven’t made a free account with them you may want to consider making one today.

Go ahead, make a new tab or page on your web browser and head on over there to www.paypal.com and make a free account. After you have successfully created your free account you are one third of the way finished towards setting up and selling your products and services online through your online store. Now before you make your Paypal buttons you need a website. I recommend you use Worpress like I am here on this site and use the WordPress blog format to create your web presence. You can add a static home page, static store front page, etc.

The other two thirds of the business are the web presence (the blog – as I mentioned above) and then your product line. What are you going to sell? Have you got an idea to sell something you can make at home or have someone else make for you and have them also drop ship it to your customers. I recommend you do something like that so you keep the initial investment on your online business to as close to $0.00 as possible. Anyway, I will share more later. Right now I am going to go do more research on some other areas I am needing to learn.

Glitches in my WP Blog – PHP Code. Unfortunate Delays Because of Code.

UPDATE: I corrected this problem early in the morning around 4 am on June 14, 2011. My persistence paid off!

I expected to make a lot more progress than I have so far but the only delay is that I am trying to clean up a glitch in the php code with this blog. I am frustrated because I am not a php programmer and I have to kinda shoot in the dark testing to see what exactly is causing the glitch. The glitch is encountered when I go to my sidebar panel of my blog and select the button called “Select Month”. The button works and it provides a drop down menu with the archives of the posts I have submitted but the problem begins when it displays the page. The date icon, a white bucket with art pencils and brushes, is not in the right location. I will continue working on this tomorrow and try to solve this if not I have already found another possible solution which I will talk about tomorrow.
